News 12 witnessed 39-year-old Manola Talbert get taken out in cuffs following an alleged altercation while waiting to enter the courtroom in Bronx Criminal Court.
Talbert was due in court after an alleged attack on June 5 against Keanna Bryant. Talbert faces multiple charges, including robbery, assault and attempted murder.
The DA's office says the judge placed him on supervised release back in September, leaving the woman he's accused of stabbing fearing for her life.
Keanna Bryant says she was stabbed 17 times in June while having an order of protection against Talbert. Bryant says she felt a sense of relief seeing Talbert in cuffs today.
"Oh, my God. I feel peace. And I want to want him to stay locked up." said Bryant.
News 12 reached out to Talbert's attorney. They initially issued a statement, but later said after a new development, they declined to comment. Talbert is due back in court for a bail application on Thursday.
