Police arrested and charged a man in connection to a hit-and-run on the Grand Concourse last month that killed a 75-year-old Bronx woman.

Marck Urena Fernandez, 25, was arrested and charged with second-degree manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, leaving the scene of an accident, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and reckless driving.

Police say that on April 12, a collision took place at Grand Concourse and East 164th Street at around 5 a.m. They say a 2020 Volkswagen sedan struck 75-year-old Martina Sanchez Alcantara, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
