A man was robbed of $18,000 while taking a walk inside a Bronx park, police say.
The incident happened on Feb. 8, inside the Joyce Kilmer Park around 12 p.m.
The 53-year-old man was ambushed by two suspects, according to police.
One of the suspects came up from behind the victim and placed him in a hold before simulating that he had a gun and threatening to shoot him.
The second suspect approached the 53-year-old man from the front while the man from behind stole the cash, police say.
The two suspects were last seen running on East 164th Street before entering a white colored van that headed northbound on Gerrard Avenue.
