Police say a 25-year-old man was shot in the leg inside a Bravo supermarket in Melrose.
Officers responded to 745 Westchester Ave just after 5 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities say EMS took the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he is expected to recover.
The gunman was last seen wearing all black and ran from the scene, traveling westbound on Westchester Avenue toward Trinity Avenue.
