Police: Man facing drug charges following compliance inspection

Police are looking for a man who punched and robbed a woman in Bedford Park.

Officers were called to East 204th Street and Valentine Avenue just after 10 p.m. Wednesday.

A 23-year-old woman was approached by a man who made a threatening statement, punched her in the face and took her cellphone from her hand, according to the NYPD.

The robber ran from the scene, traveling northbound on East 204th Street. Police say he was last seen wearing all black.

The woman suffered minor injuries and denied medical attention.
