A Marble Hill barbershop is asking for help after it was hit with a rent hike.

Marble Hill International Unisex Salon has been in business for nearly 58 years. Owner Rosey Spivey has kept prices the same all these years.

Spivey says he is currently paying $1,400 a month, but the landlord said the recent would go to $2,900 a month with $50 increases for the next five years.

He says he understands rent needs to go up, but $2,900 is too much for him to afford.

Rosey had a different issue with a different landlord and apparently was almost forced out, but his friends and customers stepped in then, and they are coming out again.
He says he's reached out to local politicians who told him they will look into the issue.

News 12 reached out to the realty company but have not heard back.
