A march was held Saturday in support of 53-year-old Melrose Street vendor who was brutally attacked last month.
Police arrested three of the men accused of brutally beating Souleymane Porgo. They say at least two attackers remain at large.
As News 12 reported, one of the suspects attempted to steal a purse, and when the vendor confronted him the other suspects fractured Porgo's skull.
Many of the people who attended the march say they can identify with the pain Porgo's family is going through and say violence is simply not acceptable in their community.
