A grand opening celebration was held Thursday afternoon for The Bronx's newest hotel.
There was an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Residence Inn by Marriott at the Hutchinson Metro Center, which opened to much excitement last month.
The hotel has 125 rooms, including suites with full kitchens.
It is the first upscale brand hotel to come to the borough.
