Mayor Bill de Blasio on Friday approved a considerable pay raise affecting all 51 City Council members.
The 32 percent raise means the members will now pull in an annual salary of about $148,000, compared with their previous figure of $112,500. Their last raise was in 2006.
Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. is getting a raise as well, with his earnings going up $19,000.
The public advocate, city comptroller and district attorney's salaries are also increasing.
