When it comes to holiday traditions like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Mayor de Blasio is telling New Yorkers to expect big changes due to the pandemic.
The mayor spoke Thursday about how the annual march in Manhattan is expected to look.
"I think some is going to be virtual. It might be some small in-person pieces, spread out pieces. It's not going to look at all, of course, like what we are used to. But the important thing is that traditions will be kept in some way," he says.
The mayor added that more details on changes for the parade will come soon.
