The mayor is urging New Yorkers to remain cautious and to get tested as the coronavirus positivity rate is now above 2%.
Mayor Bill de Blasio says the city can stop a second wave if it is handled now.
He says Staten Island is an area of concern and will get special COVID-19 responses, such as testing, outreach and mask distribution.
The New York City Department of Health is also updating its real-time COVID-19 data, launching Monday. This will include a seven-day average, weekly case count, age breakdown and testing turnaround times.
In a news conference on Monday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo also announced that red zones in Brooklyn were reduced to orange zones.
Cuomo says Brooklyn has made great progress and reduced red zones by 50% last week.
