Memorial grows for 29-year-old woman killed outside Bronx bodega

Community members lit candles to honor the life of Gwendolyn "GiGi" Guyton, a 29-year-old who was fatally stabbed Thursday afternoon.

Detectives say the 29-year-old was stabbed in the neck and torso on Southern Boulevard around 3:30 p.m.

The suspect has been described as a female, who was last seen wearing a green hooded sweater and blue sweatpants.

She fled on a bike toward St. John Avenue, according to police.

Police say no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
