The road where a manhole has been giving drivers headaches for months is now easier to navigate.
After numerous complaints, crews installed large metal plates on top of the damaged pavement, which is located on Morris Avenue, near Mount Eden Parkway.
As News 12 reported, residents complained that the manhole was damaged by the harsh winter, creating a hazard for cars. Photos even show the road appearing to cave in right before the plates appeared.
Community activist Sidney Flores is still hoping that a more permanent fix will be made.
