The city's planning commission began the public review process for these upcoming Metro-North stations - including some that may be coming to the Bronx.  These new stations will allow Bronx residents to take a train directly into midtown Manhattan, Westchester and Connecticut right from their neighborhoods.
The neighborhoods of Hunts Point, Co-op City, Parkchester/Van Nest and Morris Park will see changes that aim to improve public space, transit access, and other transportation improvements.
News 12's Brittany Cadet spoke to locals on their way home this evening to capture their reaction on this new proposal. Many say this is something they've been waiting for for for a long time.
