A fast-moving fire destroyed more than a dozen apartments Thursday morning in Mount Eden.
Fire crews were called to 47 Featherbed Lane around 10:30 a.m. after the fire spread from the first floor to the fourth floor of the six-story building.
More than 100 firefighters were on the scene to quell the flames.
Neighbors say they experienced faulty electricity in the building over the past few weeks, which may have played a role in the fire. Officials have not said exactly what sparked the fire.
Approximately 30 people have now been displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
Fire officials say one firefighter suffered a minor injury.
