NEXT: Friday will see hot temperatures near 90. If the cold front arrives sooner, temperatures won't reach 90 degrees. However, strong to severe thunderstorms are likely Friday late afternoon into the evening. Gusty winds, heavy rainfall, thunder and lightning are expected.
The weather turns amazingly dry and warm for Father’s Day weekend with loads of sunshine.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear. Lows near 65.
TOMORROW: More sunshine, hotter and more humid. Highs near 85. Feeling like upper 80s. Lows near 73. Turn on the A/C's.
FRIDAY: Hazy, hot and humid. Sunny start, afternoon clouds. Depending on the timing of the storms, which has shifted slightly earlier, highs may stop just short of 90. Thunderstorms likely after 4PM, with the potential for flooding downpours, gusty winds, and small hail. Storms likely end before midnight. Lows down to 69.
FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND: Perfection. Sunny, warm, and comfortable. Highs around 80, lows around 65.
Monday: Mostly sunny, hot and humid. Highs near 88. Lows near 72. NEXT WEEK: A heat dome is likely to develop, with 90s are on the table, we will update with more details as they come in over the next several days.
