A mother and her young son were robbed at gunpoint in the Bronx, police say.
Authorities say two suspects approached the 35-year-old mother and her 3-year-old son inside the lobby of her apartment building in the Sedgwick Avenue and West Kingsbridge Road area Wednesday at 8:20 p.m.
The suspects pointed a firearm at the mother and demanded her valuables. Police say they then pointed the weapon at the child's head and took the mother's car keys, a wallet containing $1,500 in cash and an iPhone.
The suspects entered the victim’s Range Rover and fled.
The mother and child walked away from that incident without any injuries.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact police.
