Police are asking for help from the community to identify two suspects in connection to an attempted kidnapping in Queens.
Police say it happened in front of 117-02 Hillside Ave. Police say someone picked up a 5-year-old boy from the sidewalk and placed him in the rear seat of the vehicle, described as an older-model, maroon four-door sedan.
Police say that as one of the suspect’s sat in the driver’s seat, the boy’s 45-year-old mother pulled him out of the car through the front passenger window.
The two suspects later fled southbound on Hillside Avenue and then westbound on Jamaica Avenue, according to police.
The 5-year-old was not injured, according to police.
Police describe one of the suspects as a dark-skinned man in his 30s, who was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with gray shorts and dark-colored sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a light-skinned man, age 50 to 60 with eyeglasses. Police say he was last seen wearing an orange shirt with blue jeans and black shoes.
