The cold and wet Sunday was most likely the reason for the smaller lunch crowds at the usual seafood spots.
The indoor seating was packed at Johnny’s Reef – the outdoor section was only suitable for the birds begging for French fries.
Despite today’s smaller numbers, City Island restaurants have seen good crowds already this season and warm weather is expected for this coming week.
