Members of the Mount St. Ursula High School step team are preparing to show Pope Benedict XVI some of their unique rhythms when they perform for the pontiff later this week.
Mount St. Ursula is the only all-girls high school team chosen to perform at Saturday's papal youth rally, which will be held at St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers. Team members say they'll take the opportunity to bond with the pope and other Catholic students.
The step team was founded in 2005 and combines dance and step moves. Team members say they've been practicing for weeks in anticipation of the pontiff's New York visit.
