MTA: F Train weekend services changed for scheduled maintenance

The commute for the F Train weekend services will be changed due to some scheduled maintenance, according to the MTA.
The MTA says Church Avenue will be the last stop going toward Coney Island as they perform upgrades on the signal system from Ditmas Avenue to the Coney Island subway station. Those upgrades should provide a safer and smoother train ride, according to the MTA.
The MTA says 12 stations will be impacted until the work’s scheduled completion on Sept. 11.
The MTA advises riders whose usual commutes are affected to use the bus or other nearby subway stations. The B, D and Q lines can also be used to reach Coney Island.
Service suspensions will also continue into Memorial Day and Labor Day, according to the MTA.
