An ironworker was electrocuted while working on the Third Track project in Nassau County on Saturday.
News 12 was told the incident happened around 9:30 a.m. at the Mineola Long Island Rail Road station.
MTA officials say a contract construction crew was putting up a pedestrian bridge when a crane encountered a high-voltage line. The ironworker was on the bridge at the time.
