407ds agoThe Notorious B.I.G's 50th birthday is coming up on Saturday, and the MTA is getting in on the celebration.
The MTA will release 50,000 commemorative MetroCards starting Saturday. For anyone that wants to get their hands on one, they'll be available at a few subway stations in Brooklyn on a first come, first serve basis:
1. The Lafayette Avenue C station
2. Clinton-Washington Avenues C and G lines.
3. Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center B, Q, 2, 3, 4, 5 lines, and Long Island Rail Road
The Empire state building will also be paying tribute to the legend on Friday and Saturday by having a life-size holographic avatar of B.I.G. on the 80th floor.
