A new mural in Williamsburg is memorializing George Floyd and dozens of others killed by police officers in the past three decades.
The mural was created by the graffiti crew Fame City. This was an idea that in two days last week became a reality.
Part of the wall says "Know Justice, Know Peace."
People who walk by and take photos have expressed their gratitude for the powerful piece of art. The crew tells News 12 it wasn't just those who live in the community who came out while they were working. They say even police came by and were very supportive and also took pictures with the rest of the community.
