A Nassau man has been acquitted in the deadly 1990 shooting of a Hofstra assistant football coach.
Christopher Ellis served three decades in prison for the murder of Joseph Healy before his conviction was overturned in 2021.
The Nassau District Attorney says it respects the jury’s decision.
