National Dominican Day Parade to host Dominican Republic president Abinader
Dominican Republic president Luis Abinader will walk with paradegoers in the 41st edition of the event.

The board of directors of the Dominican Day Parade Inc. announced Monday that Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader will be attending this year’s celebration.
The parade will showcase Dominican culture including music, dance and special performances.
"Not only are we celebrating 41 years, but we're actually making history in terms of having the president of all Dominicans Luis Abinder Come to the Sixth Avenue and walk with everyone,” said Chair of NatDDP Cristina Contreras.
The Dominican Day Parade will take place on Aug. 13, starting at 12 p.m.
