Owners of one and two-family homes who already receive the basic or enhanced school tax relief credit will now receive a check with $59.30 to cover the cost of a NYC garbage bin.
These checks will be sent out to eligible households in the coming weeks. No action is required.
All owners of one and two-family homes must be using the official NYC trash bins by June 2026.
