New Jersey is set to pay a settlement of 53-million dollars for claims that the state contributed to the COVID-19 deaths of veterans in state-run homes.

New Jersey is set to pay a settlement of 53-million dollars for claims that the state contributed to the COVID-19 deaths of veterans in state-run homes.
Attorneys in the case say the settlement involves 119 veteran home residents in Paramus and Menlo Park.
The Justice Department launched an investigation into the state's pandemic response last year.
