An eyesore on City Island will soon be coming down, according to the new owners.

The boarded-up house on City Island Avenue has been a topic of discussion in the community for years.

Marco Jokic, one of the new property owners, said they have applied for a permit to begin renovations.

It is not clear when the renovations will begin.
