It is to come before the storm tonight because as we go into our Sunday afternoon, Sunday night and early Monday, the potential for damaging winds and flooding rain will be here. We do have that flood watch in effect for all the five boroughs. Really. This runs from New Jersey all the way up into parts of Connecticut and into Long Island as well. This is an effect from late Sunday until early Monday here. Now there will be some fog as we kick off our Sunday, visibility is getting down to below a half mile as we go into the day on Sunday as well. It's not gonna be until those winds kick up that, that fog will go away. We look at our future cast here so we're dry overnight, but we do have those areas of fog as we start off your Sunday here. It's going to be a cloudy foggy Sunday morning, but a dry one. So if you want to do things outdoors Sunday morning, you could. But as we go into the afternoon, here comes that rain and rain will be heavy at times. That's why we're seeing these oranges and this red on your future cast. As we go into Sunday afternoon and Sunday night, the potential for thunderstorms will be there and that could bring areas of roadway flooding could also bring some damaging wind gusts with this as well by two and the heaviest rain is gone, but there's still pockets of rain as we go into your Monday morning, commute and then after 9 a.m. or so we should be dry. Let's take a look at your wind forecast. Not much on Sunday morning, the winds kick up into the afternoon, that fog will go away as a result. But we are talking about a gusty Sunday afternoon, especially places that are right along the water here. We're talking about gusts 41 miles an hour in Sheepshead Bay, 43 miles an hour at JFK Airport at 545. On Sunday, wind gusts will be 35 to 50 miles an hour as we go into your Sunday afternoon and evening. And that doesn't even include what we could see from a thunderstorm which could be higher. Take a look at your 10 day forecast. After we get past our Monday morning, we are dry as we go into the rest of the week. Here, temperatures generally staying below average next storm would come sometime next Sunday or the following Monday.
