The New City father accused of leaving his 1-year-old twins to die in a hot car in July appeared in court Thursday morning.
Juan Rodriguez, 39, told police he thought he dropped his infants off at day care before heading to work, claiming he "blanked out."
He discovered his lifeless twin babies in the back seat of his parked car in the Bronx hours later.
Rodriguez pleaded not guilty to several charges including manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide and endangering the welfare of a child.
Rodriguez and his family have appeared in Bronx court at least four times hoping that a decision will be made by the Bronx District Attorney's Office on whether to call the case before a grand jury.
Prosecutors announced Thursday that there is still no grand jury action in this case.
Rodriguez is due back in Bronx court on April 2.
