As small businesses around the five boroughs look to come back and stay open in the face of coronavirus, the city has introduced a new program aimed at helping them.
NYC Business Quick Start launched last month.
It is an $11 million investment by the city that they say will make New York “the most business-friendly large city post-COVID.”
The program includes guaranteeing a response within 40 hours, cutting processing times in half, and partnering businesses with a personal concierge to help walk them through the issues they are experiencing.
The New York City Department of Small Business Services says it has already received 1,500 calls with the program.
