2h agoWednesday is the second day of Amazon Prime Day, the annual cost-saving holiday with some of the biggest discounts of the year.
Smitha Rao, New York's regional manager for Amazon, says the two-day event has deals for everyone for their "Christmas in July."
In Brooklyn, it's been all hands on deck for their Amazon facility.
"It's one of the few exciting times we have here at the delivery station, but we spend a lot of time prepping for these moments," says James Armstrong, site lead.
Once orders have been placed, they'll end up at the facility and head out on trucks for delivery with some packages arriving as soon as the same day.
The deals expire at 3 a.m. Thursday.
