NYC Health Dept. calls on New Yorkers to continue mask-wearing amid COVID-19 spike

The New York City Department of Health took to Twitter today, sharing a message to New Yorkers to mask up in public indoor spaces and crowds outside.

The New York City Department of Health took to Twitter today, sharing a message to New Yorkers to mask up in public indoor spaces and crowds outside.
COVID-19 cases are up citywide, with neighborhoods like Flatlands seeing a 19.63% seven-day positivity rate. According to Health Department data, there has been a 15.4% citywide positivity rate over the last seven days, with a daily average of 3,041 cases.
The Department of Health is asking New Yorkers to wear N95, KN95 or KF94 masks if possible, or to doublemask with a cloth mask for the best protection.
