The New York City Housing Lottery is now open for a new luxury apartment building located in Concourse Village.
The newly constructed building, located on Teller Avenue, includes covered parking, gated access, air conditioning, and security. There are 43 units in total, and the apartment sizes range from one-bedroom to two-bedroom units, according to Housing Connect.
In order to qualify for consideration, applicants must make upwards of $100,000 per year. A one-bedroom apartment is listed for $3,059 per month, meaning in order for it to be affordable, a single tenant must be making between $104,000 and $128,900 per year.
The New York City Housing Lottery says that preferences are put in place for those who live in the neighborhood or work in New York City at the time of applying.
The lottery closes on August 29, and Housing Connect says applicants will hear back about the status of their application within two to 10 months of applying.
