The city is bringing free COVID-19 testing to two neighborhoods starting today.
New York City’s two testing trucks will be testing people in the Bronx, in the Soundview neighborhood, as well as in Queens.
The testing program will be available for anyone regardless of symptoms. The mayor is encouraging those who have attended a march in the last two weeks to take advantage and get tested.

As of now, News 12 has learned that one mobile truck will be in Soundview today and Wednesday. The other will patrol Kew Gardens, Queens, for the next two days. There’s no word yet on exactly which street these mobile trucks will be parked.
There’s no appointment required, and it functions as a walk in. The trucks will be taking 80 patients a day on a first come, first serve basis.
The city’s goal is to have 10 mobile testing sites spread out throughout the city by July, in neighborhoods that have been hit hard with COVID-19 cases.
The mobile testing program is one of more than 100 testing sites the city has put in place across all five boroughs.
It is free and open to anyone who wants to get tested.
