Residents get to see their Christmas trees get chipped and even take nutrient-rich mulch home with them.
New York residents can recycle their trees by dropping them off to locations throughout all five boroughs.
Locations in the Bronx include Van Cortlandt Park and the golf course at Bailey Avenue and Van Cortlandt Park South.
Brooklyn residents can visit Prospect Park, Lincoln Road and Ocean Avenue and Park Circle and Parkside Avenue.
