Have a heat alert now. And as we move through the rest of this week, Darryl is back to tell us. Yeah, you said, you know, it's pretty hot today, but it's only gonna those temperatures climb even more. Right, Danny, you're gonna wish for temperatures that we had up there for today. These conditions blue skies in the daytime highs. We didn't make it to 90 87 89 and 84 degrees. So Central Park laguardia JFK should be topping at about 85 degrees. So we're a couple of degrees above average on the day. We're looking at the feel like forecast here gonna feel like the middle seventies. As many people are heading out the door as we get into the noon hour. We've got some triple digit numbers here. It's gonna feel like it's 104 of them. Likewise for uh park slope. Now, these are forecast models. The guard is also looking at triple digit readings. We could see the temperatures going in either direction, the real field temperatures going in either direction. And we're also looking at some poor air quality as we go through the day on Thursday. Air quality index of 105 sensitive for affected groups out there. So if you're in that group, you need to take it nice and easy, slow it down a bit. Some heating tips out there a way to beat the heat. Avoid direct sunlight, stay in the shaded areas and drink plenty of water. If you're working outside, slow down, take it nice and easy. That's a general rule for you wanna take frequent breaks and don't do anything that's gonna stress you out seek air conditioning. And as a mckenzie was saying earlier, never leave the kids or the pets in a locked car or in a car period. During this type of weather, we'll continue to see our temperatures low and middle and upper eighties across the city as we're into the evening hours. Guys aren't looking bad out there whatsoever. Some storms will be rolling in as we turn the corner, uh, into our Thursday. We'll see the same, some pushing in our direction, some scattered showers and storms out there north of the city for the morning, scattered as we get into the evening hours and we run the risk of some higher temperatures out there as we get into the day on Friday. We're looking at temperatures in the seventies for tonight, nineties out there for the day on Thursday and take a look several more days of 90 degree weather to come before we cool down next week.
