New York City public pools are extending their hours as another option to help New Yorkers stay cool during the upcoming days.  

Starting on Wednesday, pools will now close at 7 p.m. The pools will return to regular operating hours on Sunday. Extended hours only apply to pools with Olympic and intermediate-sized pools.
