The New York City Housing Authority hosted its second resource fair Thursday at the Justice Sonia Sotomayor Houses.

The goal was to provide people with opportunities to learn about services available to them from different departments within NYCHA, as well as information provided by elected officials. That included resident engagement and what to do in case of an emergency.

The "Healthy Hopes" program offers people options for a healthier lifestyle.

NYCHA officials said they hope tenants start to take advantage of all the resources and new programs as soon as possible.
