A shooting in Kingsbridge Heights killed a 33-year-old man and injured a 36-year-old man overnight.
The NYPD says it happened on Morris Avenue just after 1 a.m.
At the scene, bullet holes were found in the driver’s side window of a car.
Both victims were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital. The 33-year-old was shot in the left arm and chest. The 36-year-old was shot in the left arm and wrist.
No arrests have been made. The identities of the victims were not immediately available.
Teofilo Ortiz, a resident, said that "things are getting worse" in the neighborhood.
"It’s up to the people to step up and do the thing," he said.
