yesterdayPolice say a teen is now recovering from a gunshot wound to the head following a shooting in Morrisania Thursday night.
Authorities say a 16-year-old boy was shot in the back of the head just a little after 9 p.m. along Jefferson Place and Boston Road after what they say was some sort of dispute over a bike.
It’s still unclear if that 16-year-old boy was on a bike at the time of the shooting. The male suspect took off from the scene after it all happened, according to the NYPD.
The 16-year-old victim is expected to survive.
