A deadly shooting broke out Wednesday night in Brooklyn leaving one person dead, police say.
According to police, the 18-year-old victim was shot while driving in the intersection of Foster Avenue and East 80th Street at 10:45 p.m. Police say the victim stopped the vehicle, opened the door, then collapsed on the street.
Police report a woman was in the passenger seat at the time. She was able to escape the vehicle and took off running after the victim collapsed. Police are searching for the woman at this moment to learn more information on the incident.
The victim was transported to a hospital and was pronounced dead an hour later.
Police are currently investigating on East 80th Street. They closed the street between Foster Avenue and Farragut Road.
Meanwhile in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood, police say they were questioning two people in connection to a deadly shooting that happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday. Police say 16-year-old Jaden Turnage was shot in front of 35 Monroe St. He was rushed to the hospital but did not survive.
Police say two people were brought in for questioning but have not been charged with anything.
