NYPD: 2 men dead, 1 injured in Longwood shooting

One nearby neighbor who lives a few houses down from the scene of the crime says that this latest act of violence does not come as a surprise.

A triple shooting in Longwood has left two men dead, according to law enforcement.  
The medical examiner and police were spotted at the scene as there are still questions that need to be answered in this incident.  
Police say the shooting involved three men outside of 936 Reverend James A. Polite Ave. just before 1 p.m. They say shortly after officers arrived, two victims were found dead and a third wounded.  
The two dead victims were found with gunshot wounds to the head, and the third victim suffered a graze from a bullet to the neck and is expected to be OK. 
One nearby neighbor who lives a few houses down from the scene of the crime says that this latest act of violence does not come as a surprise.  
Police did confirm that a firearm was found at the scene, and the identity of the two men who lost their lives is not available at this time.
