Police say two men were shot outside a party venue in East New York.
Officers say the shooting happened just before 4:30 a.m. outside the Caribbean Breeze Banquet Hall on Belmont Avenue.
Police say a 23-year-old man was shot in the chest and a 24-year-old man was shot in the torso by two suspects who fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
Both victims were taken to Brookdale Hospital. The 23-year-old is in serious condition and the 24-year-old is expected to be OK.
