Police are searching for two people they believe assaulted a man Saturday in Soundview.

The victim was walking home when he told police a man grabbed him from behind and pushed him to the ground.

According to the victim, his attacker didn’t act alone. Authorities released video capturing the two men they’re looking to question. Both of them were seen running in the middle of the street.

News 12 is told the 61-year-old victim was walking down Morrison Avenue at 11 a.m., when a man pushed him to the ground. That’s when he describes another man coming in and punching him in the face multiple times. He says the men then stole a $100 bill from his pocket and fled.

News 12 is told the victim was taken to the hospital and treated for lacerations on his face.
