Officials say the suspect linked to setting multiple cars on fire early overnight in Soundview is on the loose.

Police say a man set six cars on fire along Lawrence Avenue a little before 2 a.m. causing a 2-month-old infant to suffer smoke inhalation.

News 12 acquired surveillance video depicting a man walking down the sidewalk with a gasoline can. Other video from down the same street shows that man dumping gasoline outside of an apartment building before leaving the scene.

The infant who suffered from smoke inhalation was taken to a hospital.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
