Police are searching for two people they say are behind more than a dozen armed robberies across New York City.

Police say the duo stole money, jewelry, clothes and anything victims had on the in at least 17 separate incidents.

Most of the time, the pair would show up in a vehicle and ambush people on the streets with guns and masks, according to officials.

Police say the pair used several different kinds of cars to commit their crimes.
