Three men were shot on Bronxwood Avenue in Williamsbridge on Monday evening, according to the NYPD.

Officials say that the shooting took place around 6 p.m. at the intersection of East 221st Street and Bronxwood Avenue. Police say that all three shooting victims are in stable condition.

Officials say that one of the victims, a 27-year-old male, was shot in the right hand. They say a 21-year-old male was shot in the back once and the left arm once, and a 33-year-old male was shot once in the right leg.

The NYPD says the suspect wanted for the shooting was wearing a black mask and all-black clothing and that the suspect fired multiple rounds at a group of people.

Community members tell News 12 that the victims were enjoying a barbecue on the sidewalk when the gunshots rang out.

A nearby store clerk says that one man ran into his store for safety.

"They were very loud, like six shots, it was very loud... I always I worry about my own safety... I thought Puerto Rico was hard but here I am more scared," said store clerk Carlos Sotomayor.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact police.
