NYPD: 42-year-old fatally stabbed inside apartment lobby, 68-year-old in custody

A man was found clinging to life inside an apartment building in the Bronx Wednesday night after being stabbed multiple times, according to police.

A man was found clinging to life inside an apartment building in the Bronx Wednesday night after being stabbed multiple times, according to police.
Authorities say they found 42-year-old Fernando Rodriguez stabbed in the lobby of the apartment building where he lived on Aldus Street.
Police say he was found unconscious and with multiple stab wounds to his body around 9:20 p.m.
He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln where he was pronounced dead.
Police say 68-year-old Luis Rivera has been charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
According to detectives, Rivera lives just around the corner from Rodriguez. One neighbor says they were out drinking that day and were actually friends.
