NYPD: 6 shootings reported overnight in Brooklyn

At least six shootings were reported in Brooklyn between Friday night and Saturday morning, police say.

At least six shootings were reported in Brooklyn between Friday night and Saturday morning, police say.
One of the shootings occurred just after 10 p.m. Friday in East New York.
The NYPD tells News 12 they were called to a home at 638 Snediker Ave. and found a 25-year-old man shot in the leg. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital and is expected to survive.
Four of the other shootings were within three miles of that East New York incident. And another shooting happened in Bed-Stuy.
A total of five men were injured in those incidents. Most of the victims are in their 20s, and one is in his 40s.
The NYPD is not reporting any arrests or any connections between the six incidents.
It came amid a night of violence across the city. At least seven shootings were reported in the Bronx.
